I began my work in mental healthcare in 2010, gaining experience across diverse settings including community mental health and telehealth. As a psychiatrist double board-certified in adult and child & adolescent psychiatry, I offer a comprehensive, integrative approach blending medication management with psychotherapy. My path into psychiatry was guided by a deep interest in the human mind and a commitment to helping people lead more meaningful lives. I'm passionate about working with pre-teens, adolescents, young adults, and women, supporting them through life's challenges, relationships, and societal pressures. I value building long-term therapeutic relationships in outpatient settings, where trust and collaboration foster lasting change.
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and mood instability, with a focus on life transitions, identity development, and chronic stress. My approach draws from evidence-based psychopharmacology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness. With a background in nutrition, I bring a holistic perspective, recognizing the connection between physical wellness and emotional well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, cooking, and spending time with family, which keeps me grounded and brings balance to my practice.

I booked here in crisis because of a cancer diagnosis and impending, life-altering surgery. The clinician seemed anchored to outdated assumptions and barely touched real issues: menopausal dopamine shifts, task initiation, processing speed, or the scatter-profile cognition common in neurodivergent adults. Instead of meaningful discussion of executive dysfunction, I received lifestyle lectures. Key terms were Googled mid-session, which didn’t inspire confidence.
I wouldn’t bring a neurodivergent teen here; subtle ADHD/autism traits in girls and women would be easy to miss. At one point I was casually cast as a florist, despite being a conceptual artist with an advanced degree.
Women deserve clinicians who listen and remember, who understand masking, burnout, shutdown, executive load, and the difference between moral effort and neurological capacity. If you’re a late-identified neurodivergent woman, you may want someone with up-to-date training in adult ADHD/autism presentations.
