NYMI Associates conducts head, neck, abdominal, pelvic, thyroid, breast, extremity, and scrotal sonograms. Our ultrasonic equipment allows excellent evaluations using both transabdominal and transvaginal techniques. Additionally, our office is equipped with Color Flow Doppler capabilities for venous and arterial studies.

I checked in and filled out and submitted my paperwork. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time, I asked why I was waiting so long, as all the people that checked in after me, were already seen. Well, no one could seem to locate my paperwork, so it was apparently misplaced. How that could possibly happen? And also, no one even apologized.

The office staff was very professional and my wait time was very short. The only complaint I have is I felt the doctor was sort of disconnected to my concerns. As if “I have heard these symptoms too many times and they’re just part of life” and was just nodding. The little that she spoke was about all the bad side effects of my treatment, but not a single sentence was about hope and relieve for symptoms. I left more concerned that in fixing one thing, I was going to create other health problems for me and made me second guess my choice because I left more worried than when I came in. I read great reviews about her that’s why I picked her, but my experience was a bit different. I’m sure she’s a great doctor, but she could’ve been more warm and friendly, especially with a new patient that came in with a lot of concerns.
