About New York Medical Imaging New York - X-Ray Facility
NYMI Associates was among the first imaging centers in Manhattan to install a digital x-ray system. Digital x-ray allows the technologist to view all images taken of the patient within 10 seconds of exposure. This technology provides the radiologist with immediate access to any cases requiring urgent review. It also protects the patient from additional exposure due to images being too dark or too light, as the computer can adjust all images as needed.
No special preparation is necessary.
