About Nicole Denha

Nicole Denha is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She earned her bachelor's degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. Nicole then attended the University of Detroit Mercy, where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She has worked in both dermatology and cosmetics for one year, gaining extensive experience in general dermatology as well as in providing proper cosmetic consultations and enhancements. I came in for a skin issue and was immediately dismissed once she learned I have a pre-existing GI condition and take medication for it—even though that condition is under control. She didn’t attempt to discuss possible causes for my skin concern or offer any guidance, simply telling me to “see my GI doctor” for a SKIN issue… because of a medication I take. I had waited about 40 minutes before being seen, and the actual visit lasted less than 5 minutes. I originally had two concerns to discuss, but I didn’t bother bringing up the second one because I could tell she wasn’t interested in listening. Her demeanor came across as rushed and dismissive, which is frustrating when you’re seeking care. She prescribed me a topical cream but didn’t explain what it was used for, how to apply it, how long to use it, etc. I don’t even know if I need it. Unfortunately, I left feeling unheard and brushed off. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this provider. What a waste of a copay.
