Dr. Hoffman was born in Kansas and raised in New Mexico and Colorado. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver, followed by her doctorate degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She completed family practice residencies at Tucson General Hospital in Tucson, Arizona and Eastmoreland Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Hoffman found her love of science and the mysteries of the human body when she was dealing with her own medical issues as a young child. She feels fortunate that as a medical provider, she is able to help others just like her childhood doctors helped her.
“I feel that family medicine allows patients to participate as part of their health care team in an atmosphere that generates trust and confidence. I encourage patients of all ages to ask questions and learn more about their health.”

This was hands down the best experience I've had with a general practitioner. I carry extra weight, so I usually get the "all your problems would be solved if you lost weight" treatment. I also haven't had regular access to a GP in about 10 years, and have relied on psychiatric nurses and gynecologists to kind of cover things. I came in prepared with a laundry list of topics I wanted to discuss. Dr. Hoffman listened patiently and took notes. I left with a TDAP booster, an inhaler refill, an order for a knee X-ray, a referral to an allergist, and a referral to a dermatologist. Furthermore, I left with the sense that someone qualified is actually overseeing my health care. I'm eager to get my health ducks in a row and no longer dreading follow-up appointments. At age 37, I finally feel like things are on track. Dr. Hoffman is wonderful, and the staff was very kind and efficient. The office was easy to find, clean, and bright. Highly recommend, especially if this stuff stresses you out.
