The provider that I saw was lacking in her understanding of modern medical devices, her awareness that people can be diagnosed with type 1 diabetes later in life and general understanding of her role as a primary care provider when a person such as myself already has an endocrinologist. She seemed confused and asked the same questions multiple times. After a 7 minute conversation about the difference between a glucose monitor and an insulin pump, and how the dosage and levels are administered by my Endo by way of the insulin pump the PA says “Oh, there is nothing for me to do” . I was not impressed.Yeah, Dexcom and Omnipod are not the same thing. I would expect a primary care provider to know that.

The entire office and my doctor were super friendly and all had great personalities, I was taken back pretty quickly, and my doctor was thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns, and she seemed to genuinely care about my well being and making sure my treatment goes well. I would definitely come back and recommend others to as well.

Arrived 10 minutes early for an ingrown toenail appointment with the nurse practitioner. The wait in the waiting room was short, but then I was taken to an examination room where the nurses assistant started new patient intake with me, trying to sign me up to the practice with a new primary care doctor. She then told me the nurse might not be able to treat my ingrown toenail and that I would need a referral to a podiatrist if it was too infected for the nurse to deal with. They then kept me waiting another 45 minutes in the examination room, so I walked out and got a refund for my copay.
- DO NOT SAY YOU CAN TREAT INGROWN TOENAILS IF YOU CANT TREAT THEM.
- WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT IF THE DOCTOR IS UNAVAILABLE???

So wait to go back wasn’t long, seems ma first, she asked a lot of questions about my issue, but when NP came in she never read the notes had no clue that I no longer had a sore throat has me swabbed for no reason, never looked at what the Ma wrote so spending 10 min with her is for nothing. Waited a hour to see NP which was annoying. She also claimed I dont have a ear infection cause she didn’t see redness, but you can have a middle ear infection that isn’t on the ear drum. I’m in pain for over a week. I will find new dr office.
