This was solidified by her love of the sciences and passion to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Dr. Johnson completed her undergraduate studies at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL. Her activities included shadowing Primary Care physicians and volunteering at the Atlanta VA Medical Center ER. She then attended medical school at the Medical College of GA in Augusta, GA. During her medical school training, Dr. Johnson developed an interest in Internal Medicine due to her desire to care for the whole patient. She attended Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA for intern and residency training. She decided to focus on Primary Care because of her love of the relationships formed between patients and families as a Primary Care Physician. In her leisure time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, singing, and being involved in her church.
