About Dr. Nitin Malhotra
Nitin Malhotra is a caring pain management specialist. He is certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Malhotra studied medicine at Saint Louis University in Missouri. He later completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Louisville and a fellowship in pain management at the University of Chicago.

I found the doctor to be extremely quiet, passive and vague. I originally went to him because my primary care physician had him on a list of referrals. What turned me completely off was the fact that I have no doubt in my mind that this doctor cares more about billing than his patients. I had 3 separate treatments that he administered. After the 2nd treatment, he clearly told me that I would not need an office visit as long as I signed off on it. When I required the 3rd treatment and in immense pain and needed to get in right away, he and his staff kept pushing for an office visit. When asked why I need an office visit after I had already signed the form as well as common sense would tell anyone that there is nothing that changed because I told him so and that an office visit would do nothing from one day to the next, he and his office staff finally agreed to schedule me for the injection the next day. Several weeks later, I received a bill in the mail for the treatment and an office visit... An office visit that never occurred and no examination was ever given. Thinking this was a clerical error, I contacted the billing company who eventually in turn contacted the doctor and returned a call to me advising me that the doctor was standing with his decision.

Needed to find pain specialist right away. Dr. Maholtra was recommended and he was able to see me right away. His staff is friendly and always pleasant. Dr. Maholtra listens to you and thinks outside the box!! Highly recommend him!!

Dr. Malhotra is one of the kindest and calmest doctors! He saw that I was experiencing great back pain and was able to help me in less than 24 hours. He went out of his way to see that I had an MRI and was able to have a procedure to help me with my pain level when the other doctors I had called couldn't see me for weeks. He has been so kind and understanding through this experience. Great Doctor!

Dr. Malhotra is a fabulous physician. I cannot recommend him enough. He is thorough, he has great bedside manners, and her is extremely smart I used to see him when he was in a previous practice in Bolingbrook. I like his new location and new practice much better and even though it's a little more distance for me, it is totally worth going to a doctor who you know truly cares for your well being and is an expert in his field.

Dr. Mahotra listens to my concerns and helps me understand my conditions. He has helped me through 2 surgeries and I will give his name to anyone looking for pain management. He does injections better than my prior doctor from DMG!
