I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. My goal is to help you holistically by providing care using the skills I have acquired during my many years of practice. As a clinician, I am very passionate about what I do, and your well-being is my top priority. The foundation of my practice is based on evidence-based treatment, with an emphasis on the role of psychotherapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first encounter, we get a chance to meet each other. Being an active listener that I am, you take over the floor, while I listen to you. Using evidenced based practice, a treatment plan is created and you get a chance to participate in your treatment plan. A two week follow up is then scheduled after the first encounter. In that follow up, we would reassess and check progress. Some treatment may take a while to be fully effective, depending on what your diagnosis is or what medication you are started on. Be rest assured that your well-being is my goal, and we would work together to attain that goal.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
