About Noemi James

Growing up in a large family with significant health challenges and limited resources, I saw how important access to quality care and education can be. My family always encouraged me to be empathetic while serving and caring for those in need. That made a career in medicine a logical fit. Now, as a family nurse practitioner, I can support patients across all stages of life and help improve their health in meaningful ways. Medicine is incredible as allows me to help people heal, manage illness and live better lives. Since my patients know their bodies and experiences better than anyone else, I believe they should be active participants in their care. I first take time to listen and understand their concerns, and then combine that information with my own thorough clinical assessment. I provide clear and up-to-date evidence-based information so each patient can be as informed as they desire. That way, we can work together to make care decisions that align with their values and goals. Patients can trust me because I am committed to listening, being honest and guiding them responsibly toward the best possible outcomes for their health. I believe in looking at each patient holistically. Considering their lifestyle, home environment and overall well-being is important when considering needed treatments. When I am not working, our four active boys keep me and my husband busy! The boys participate in baseball, basketball and soccer, and I enjoy supporting them at their games as well as staying involved in their school activities. My family and I live on a small homestead where I enjoy gardening and caring for a few farm animals. Working in the garden keeps me connected to family and nature, and constantly shows me the importance of growth in everyday life.
