“This was probably one of the better first appointments I have had with a new doctor. Dr. Alzarka took the time to make sure that I was able to ask all of the questions I had, and responded with easy to understand and thorough answers. She was kind, courteous, patient, and caring. She made sure I left with an understanding of the issue, and with many practical suggestions to improve my condition. The office wait times were short, and the rest of the staff was also very friendly and helpful. The office was easy to find, and there was adequate parking available. I would gladly recommend Dr. Alzarka to friends and family.”

About Dr. Noor Alzarka

After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Nutrition from the University of Houston, Dr. Noor Alzarka received both Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed a family medicine residency at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program before completing a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Board-Certified in family medicine and sports medicine, Dr. Alzarka treats patients of all ages, starting at 5-years old. Her dual training equips her to evaluate and manage almost any patient need, including women’s health, pediatric care, chronic conditions, wellness and preventive care, and musculoskeletal conditions and injuries like sprains, broken bones, and concussions. She can also perform office-based procedures such as joint injections. She partners with her patients to achieve their health goals with a holistic approach to wellness, including guidance about nutrition and fitness principles. She speaks English, Arabic, and basic Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family. She especially enjoys providing medical coverage on the sidelines at local sporting events.

I had a great experience and this was my first time with this doctor and office. I was very impressed with the staff, assistant and doctor. I appreciated how she took the time to listen to my needs, concerns, etc. She was very informative of what is best for my overall health. I was very comfortable talking with her and her assistant. I was slow on the ipad for the forms, but they asked the questions so we could move on with the appointment, but not rushed at all. It is nice to know there are still doctors out in the world that listen and care for you as a human and not just a number. If you are needing a doctor, please book an appointment with her and see for yourself.
