About Dr. Noreen Anwar

Noreen Anwar was born in Texas and grew up in Oklahoma where she received her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Anwar is a graduate of Des Moines University where she obtained her doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine. She later transitioned to Fort Dodge, Iowa in UnityPoint Health Trinity Regional Medical Center where she finished her training. Her comprehensive residency training included but was not limited to trauma, limb salvage, sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, and wound care. During residency, Dr. Anwar served on the Office of Medical Education Board and has been involved in research with publications and presentations during conferences. She enjoys playing the French horn and piano. In addition, she likes to bake desserts, travel, and explore nature in her spare time. She is excited to be part of the Clarinda Regional Health Center team and is looking forward to being a component of the Clarinda community.
