She’s a wonderful doctor. The office is a little disorganized. They lost my urine sample, but I don’t hold that against her.

The wait time was a while and our appointment was a bit rushed, have to schedule a follow up appointment with her for what I also need to get done. Other than that, great listener and made great recommendations.
I would not recommend this physician. I don’t typically wrote bad reviews but I have had a very bad experience seeing her and left from the facility feeling disappointed. First off, she didn’t see me for more than an hour even though I had an appointment and didn’t just walk in. Then when she finally came to the room she rushed me. Didn’t listen to anything I had to say, I felt she is too full of herself and doesn’t seem to care for her patients. It was a very busy facility and ER and she probably just wanted to see as many patients as possible to earn more dollars without truly caring for her patients. Also had a weird body language and persona, I don’t recommend her as a PCP.
Dr. Rao was a very good listener, attentive to my needs and own judgment and perception of my symptoms. She had a good holistic approach and was not quick to jump to unnecessary medications.
After outgrowing my pediatrician at 18, I’ve spent years struggling to find a primary care doctor that fits my needs. At 21, Dr. Rao was the first doctor I’ve seen that gave me the patience, care, and detailed explanations that I’ve been searching for. Could not reccomend her more for anyone who is looking for an honest and communicative doctor.
Dr Rao was so friendly and really took the time to get to know me as a new patient. The facility was very clean and the process was seamless!

Exceeded my expectations in every way. This was a new provider to me. What really stood out was how she entered introduced herself and then said 'i'd like to take some time to get to know you'. She really listened to me, she was empathetic, and provided a safe space to voice my concerns.
I really liked Dr. Rao, she is thorough and careful, she didn't make me feel at all rushed. The office is great too. They have labs and imaging in the same facility so you can get everything done in one spot.
Dr. Rao was attentive, quick and easy to talk to. The practice was incredibly efficient for bloodwork. I’m so glad I found them!

Great doctor with amazing bedside manner!
Absolutely one of the best doctors I’ve ever visited. Very professional and caring and was very thorough in all of her explanations making sure I understood why exactly we were making certain decisions and what potential future steps would be. Could not recommend her enough!!!
Verified patient
Very efficient doctor’s visit and Dr. Rao was informative with what she was checking for and thorough in her explanation of things.
Dr. Rao comes across as very friendly and kind. However, she dismissed one of my issues entirely and only focused on my chronic fatigue by telling me to sleep more. She may be great at handling basic colds but certainly nothing complicated. I didn't feel like she actually listened to anything I said. Also you should know that this is UChicago, they bill their Dr. Apts as outpatient hospital visits. What should have been a preventative first time appointment was billed for hundreds more than expected. I informed them that it was coded wrong but they refused to refile the claim.

I had a great first patient visit. Both Nymisha (doctor) and Angela (nurse) were friendly, professional and helpful. I haven’t been to the doctor in a few years and they made the visit super efficient by getting me a pap smear, tetanus shot and blood work all in one visit! I’m not great with blood and Angela went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Glad to have found a great doctor who I trust and stick with going forward.

Doctor Rao was very patient and listened to everything I had to say. She then took time to explain things and made sure she answered all my questions.
Dr. N Rao made me feel heard and safe in her office. I really appreciate that she heard all my concerns and addressed them all without dismissing any. Looking forward to my next appointment.
