I work with patients ages 8 and older, addressing conditions ranging from Mood Disorders: Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Neurodevelopmental Disorders: ADHD evaluation and management, Anxiety Disorders: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, to Personality Disorders: Borderline Personality Disorder, and Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Building a strong therapeutic alliance is at the core of my practice. I value open communication, active listening, and involving individuals in their treatment decisions. When I approach goal setting with patients, I like to take a collaborative and individualized approach. I start by understanding what the patient’s own priorities and values are, because goals are most effective when they feel personally meaningful. Together, we break larger, long-term objectives into smaller, realistic, and measurable steps so progress can be seen and celebrated along the way. I also emphasize that flexibility goals may need to be adjusted as symptoms, life circumstances, or treatment needs change. Throughout the process, I encourage open communication so that patients feel supported and empowered in their journey, rather than pressured.
