After getting to know me and my medical history, she took the time to walk me through several options and informed me that she would prescribe Misoprostol for my IUD insertion while also using lidocaine to make the procedure more comfortable. She explained every step of the process and was genuinely receptive to all of my questions.
It can be incredibly difficult to find such a compassionate provider for reproductive healthcare, so if you're looking for someone who truly listens and supports you, I can’t recommend Olga enough.”

About Olga Hidchenko
Olga Hidchenko, NP, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Jose State University in 1995 and later returned to earn her Master's in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner. She has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Gynecology and Obstetrics since 1997 and has collaborated with Dr. Kardos for 24 years. Her professional interests include adolescent gynecology, management of menstrual disorders, contraception, family planning, perimenopause, and pregnancy termination options.
She currently lives in Marin County with her husband, George, and their two dogs, Whyat and Whiskey. Olga is fluent in Russian and speaks basic Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and refinishing vintage furniture.

The front desk woman was listening to a patient voicemail on speaker where I heard a woman’s personal information including her name and why she needed an appointment. Second, this office wasn’t aware of my appointment even though ZocDoc said I was ready for my appointment. I would never ever book here again. Please be aware your phone calls may be heard by patients, very unprofessional.

I never got to see the provider, but I had to answer something about the star rating to get past the first page so I can comment.
I made my first appointment through Zocdoc with the provider and selected the reason for the appointment. I received email and my app was showing my appointment with a note that my provider will contact me on how we are going to video chat. No one reached out to me. When I called the office, I was told that i didn’t have an appointment. Upon inquiry, I was told that the appointment was cancelled. I asked how was I notified, I was told that they called me. When I said that i didn’t get any firm of communication from the office, I was told that it was cancelled thought the Zocdoc app. I suspect that no one looked at Zocdoc appointment. The person kept interrupting me and I was placed on two long holds. I was finally told that they are an OG/GYN office and they can’t help me as if it was my fault. No where was that mentioned. Finally I got a bit of empathy.

I had a good experience with Olga and was in and out quickly. She was quick, professional and friendly. Olga should list her appointments as gyno exam / annual pap instead of annual physical. It is confusing when booking appointments thru Zocdoc.
