What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a calm, compassionate, and collaborative approach. I believe that care works best when it’s personalized, so we’ll spend time understanding your unique story, challenges, and goals. Our first sessions will focus on getting to know you and building a plan that feels manageable and supportive. I use evidence-based treatments, including medication management and practical therapy, to help you find relief from symptoms while building tools for long-term wellness. I’ll explain options clearly, answer your questions, and involve you in every step of the process so you feel informed and empowered. Most importantly, I want you to feel safe, respected, and never rushed. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what you’re going through and work at a pace that feels right for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During your first visit, we’ll spend time talking about what brought you here — your symptoms, your history, and how life has been affected. I’ll ask questions to better understand your mental health, medical background, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that truly fits you. This may include medication options, supportive talk therapy, or a combination of both, depending on your needs. Follow-up sessions are more focused and collaborative. We’ll check in on how you’re feeling, adjust your treatment if needed, and work on practical strategies to help you manage challenges and build resilience. I aim to keep sessions conversational, respectful, and free of judgment, so you feel comfortable sharing openly. My goal is to make the process clear and approachable, giving you both immediate support and long-term tools for feeling better.
