Hello, I am a doctoral-prepared, licensed, and board-certified child, adolescent, and adult outpatient mental health provider, holding a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of South Alabama. My purpose is to ensure each patient receives individualized, quality, and compassionate care while utilizing evidence-based practices.
My approach
During our first visit, you will receive a thorough mental health assessment to assist in arriving at an accurate diagnosis and guide us in developing a treatment plan based on your needs. We may use medications, psychotherapy, counseling, and other evidence-based approaches to achieve your goals.
My focus
I am experienced in treating mood disorders, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder, sleep disorders, eating disorders, psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, and many other challenges.
My communication style
I will work with you and your loved ones compassionately to treat and manage your mental health needs. I truly care about my patients and want them to thrive and live the best lives possible.
My first session with you
To ensure a productive first visit, please fill out your intake form in advance. We will complete a full mental health assessment and evaluation, with many questions about your medical and mental health history. Working together to determine an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan is important and may require multiple appointments. Controlled medications may be available from my practice on a limited basis and rarely during the first session. Paperwork such as FMLA forms will only be considered after several sessions and as clinically indicated. Once your evaluation is complete, we can discuss a treatment plan specific to your needs to get you on the road to feeling better as soon as possible!
