He completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati in Ohio, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. He further specialized with an Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, where he served as the Chief Fellow. Dr. Ahmad's professional experience includes roles as a TeamHealth Infectious Disease Physician at Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI, and as an IUPUI Assistant Professor and Staff Hospitalist at Richard Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN.
