“The entire process seeing Dr. Rashid and Southeast Medical Group for the first time was super easy and comprehensive. Short wait. Labs done in office. Referrals in building. The only thing that threw me off was their signage at the door said North Atlanta Primary Care. Other than that, nice staff and office space, relatively easy to find their location. Dr. Rashid's a bright younger doctor. Had observations right away that changed my original concerns. Overall very positive experience. ”

Dr. Rashid was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He earned his undergraduate degree in biomolecular sciences from New York University. I had an appointment with Dr. Rashid & requested a refill for a couple medications. "Great, we'll send that over!" The next day, nothing had been sent. I called the clinic and left a voicemail. Someone called me back later - "yeah that hasn't been filled yet, we'll get that sent in." Four days, 8 voicemails, and 3 portal messages later, nothing.
The following week I physically went into the office. The nice front desk staff member got the OTHER doctor at the clinic to fill it for me, which took all of five minutes. Before I could cancel my follow-up appointment, they calmly asked, "so do you still want to keep your appointment?", almost as if this is a common occurrence.
On the bright side, Dr. Rashid has great bedside manner and is very kind - but I'm not sure that makes up for the complete logistical incompetence.

Appointment was great but the communication after has been impossible. No one car tell me my lab results and it has been more than two weeks. Left multiple messages and contacted my provider directly thru the app with zero success or help. The office is tremendously bard to get into contact with.

Dr. Rashid is a knowledgeable physician. Answered my questions thoroughly and explained all the points that I needed to know.
He also recommended to be updated with vaccines. He checked my previous screening tests as well. I strongly recommend him as a family physician.

I’ve been going to Dr.Rashid for a little while now. Let me tell you, this doctor LISTENS to WOMEN! We found out I had a tumor growing on my right adrenal gland after finding elevated levels in my blood, followed up by a CT request. He was the only doctor that kept trying to figure out what was going on. It helps that he’s from New York, he is thorough!

There was obvious confusion as to the time of my appointment -10:15 am or 1:15 pm- I arrived to the office after 10:15 thinking the appointment was at 1: 15 pm ,since I was told it would be 1:15 two weeks ago over the phone.
Instead,I was told it was 10:15 am and I had to reschedule my appointment
I had to walk a good way to the office -yet I was in no hurry to be seen. Now
I have to wait to August 6th at 1:15 pm to be seen.I have two refills ,and a serious itching and swelling condition in my feet and ankles.
I would never treat a patient this way.

Dr. Rashid was great as a good listener and communicator during my annual physical. The nurse was very sweet. The front desk attendant was a bit monotone and didn’t have the best demeanor but everyone else in the office was great.

Dr. Rashid is great! He’s been my doctor for over a year and we’ve gotten to the bottom of several overlapping symptoms. He listens, keeps an open mind and uses everything in his disposal to get to the bottom of the issue. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Rashid listened well. However, he never sent over the medication that was discussed to my pharmacy. I had to call after my appointment, and the next day. Still do not have my medication as I type this. I am not sure why it was failed to be sent over. One of the medications are a control substance, but the others are not. The drug contract, and drug test was signed and finished before I left. I am not sure he will be a good fit for my PCP. I had very high hopes regarding my visit, but him neglecting to send over my medications is very troubling to me, especially with no communication as to why he was not.
