Welcome. I'm Dr. Og, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner providing virtual care across IL, TX, and WI.
My story shapes my practice. I grew up in poverty in Nigeria, won the U.S. Visa Lottery, and started as a CNA before earning my Doctor of Nursing Practice. I served in the U.S. Army, and I've faced my own battles with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I'm in recovery now, receiving care at my VA hospital. That experience is why I truly understand.
My philosophy is partnership, not prescription. I listen carefully, evaluate comprehensively, and build treatment plans together. I use evidence-based approaches, including medication management, supportive therapy, and CBT.
What sets me apart? Lived experience. I'm not just a provider—I'm also a patient. When I say "I understand," I mean it.
I treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, PTSD, and memory concerns for all ages. Virtual appointments available.
