She completed her undergraduate degree at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, where she also earned a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry. After working as a registered nurse on the tele-unit for about six years, she decided to further her education with a specialty in mental health. Her inspiration was driven by the stigma associated with mental health illnesses. As a community advocate for mental illness, she pursued her nurse practitioner degree and training at Walden University, where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. In her quest for additional skills and knowledge, she recently graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Walden University. With her level of commitment, she is prepared to assume leadership roles, mentor others, and contribute to shaping healthcare policies for better patient outcomes. She is dedicated to addressing the specific needs of her community, promoting wellness, and reducing stigma surrounding mental illness. Her goal is to leave a lasting impact in the field of mental health, shaping the future of care for generations to come.

Spends the entire time reading and asking questions from a form you might find on a facebook quiz. Ultimately only cares about the quiz results, not your personal situation or experience.
Seemed wholly uninterested and even took two phone calls during the appointment.
Wouldn't recommend.

Dr. Mbah was absolutely delightful to meet! I had booked a last minute appointment for medication adjustments and she addressed all of my concerns right away.
