For someone who hasn’t been put on many SSRI’s in the past, I was put on a heavy dose of Gabapentin (300mg 3 times a day) for anxiety and depression. When given notice these medications were making me feel drowsy and sluggish, he called me past 10:30pm (I communicated about this concern at 8-9am). He asked ME for advice how we should proceed with the treatment. “Should we lower your dose to once a day or get rid of it completely” and then he waited for me to give myself a treatment plan I’m assuming. Kind fellow, seemed to be listening, but doesn’t seem like he’s listening at the same time. I think he’s a good doctor but is very head set on ptsd diagnoses from the jump. I read more on his studies and saw he specializes in shock therapy with ptsd patients, kind of scared me away from this kind of physician.

He asked many questions making me think he’s thorough but we will see as we continue seeing each other but definitely not a great listener… he would stop me in the middle of explanation.. and he sometimes asked the same question…
