About Dr. Padma Shenoy
Dr. Padma Shenoy is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine and holds additional certifications in Adult Echocardiography and Stress Echocardiography from the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE), in Nuclear Cardiology from the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC), and as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Dr. Shenoy earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and is a proud member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). She is fluent in English and holds hospital privileges at NYU Langone.
Dr. Shenoy treats a wide range of cardiac conditions including chest pain, heart attacks, arrhythmias, palpitations, syncope, shortness of breath, and heart failure. I had two appointments (an initial consult and a follow-up) and never saw the doctor—only the Physician Assistant. I was told multiple times that I would meet with the doctor, including at my follow-up to review test results, but that never happened. It’s misleading to schedule with a doctor and not actually see them. I chose this provider based on Zocdoc reviews, but my experience did not match. This was my second bad experience at the Medical Offices of Manhattan, and I won’t be returning.

I never even saw the Dr. These offices are incredibly busy and it felt like a conveyor belt. It’s not possible to discuss nuanced clinical decisions with a PA and a PA should absolutely not be upselling tests that are no way necessary at this point in time. It felt like anyone presenting to cardiology here is offered a sleep apnea study, carotid Dopplers and Holter monitor. No thanks.
I’d like to sit and have a calm meaningful discussion about what could be wrong with the specialist not a PA. Felt like the Dr was too busy or too protected to spend time seeing me. I don’t recommend this facility

I went to see a cardiologist today as I just moved to New York and needed to be seen for some heart palpitations and shortness of breath. I was seen by Dr. Shenoy and she evaluated me with a sense of urgency and care. Very empathetic yet professional. Will be following back up in 4 months.

I need a new cardiologist since my doctor relocated to Florida and today was my first visit with Dr Shenoy and she was lovely. She did a EKG on me and checked my heart and asked a lot of questions to understand my medical health history. She was very patient and kind and I would love to see her again.

The staff was nice and friendly yet helpful and the medical assistant was fast and efficient. Dr. Shenoy gave me a warm welcome and went straight into business. She took her time with understanding my reasons for visit and requested I come back for a stress test. She shows she really cares for my well-being and I appreciate that.
