With over 30 years of experience as a primary care pediatrician and as a mother of five, I’ve dedicated my life to nurturing children's health and supporting families. For the past 20 years, I’ve also been an educator, teaching medical students and residents about the important issues that affect children and families. I believe in providing individualized, comprehensive care that respects each child's unique journey and background. My approach is practical and flexible, recognizing that there is no single right way to raise children. I have special interests in behavioral and mental health, ADHD, affirmative care for LGBTQ+ youth and weight management.
My wish for you is... to feel supported and confident as you navigate parenthood, knowing that you’re not alone. I hope you find the right guidance that helps you be present with your child, understand their needs, and embrace the journey of raising them in a way that works for your family. I want all families to have access to high-quality care, with the resources and advocacy they need to thrive.
As pediatric clinicians—and parents ourselves—we believe in preventive medicine and that vaccinations are safe, effective, and vital to prevent serious illness, suffering, and even death. We recommend patients follow the American Academy of Pediatrics vaccination schedule, as our own children do.
We will work with families who wish to learn more about vaccines if they meet our minimum vaccination requirements (school schedule). If parents choose not to vaccinate at all, we respectfully recommend seeking care with a pediatrician more aligned with their beliefs.
