Getting to know Pamela Schreurs

Hello, I'm Pam. Do you feel like you are not being heard or that nobody truly understands what you are going through? I am here to listen to your concerns and empower you to be an active participant in your path to mental wellness. I hold a Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from National University. My background primarily consists of treating child, adolescent, and young adult populations, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and those with autism spectrum disorders. I specialize in treating attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as mood and affective disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar I and II, post-traumatic stress disorder, postpartum depression, adjustment disorders, seasonal affective disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. My experience also includes treating substance-induced psychosis, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, and personality disorders. I consider myself a holistic provider and will help you develop a comprehensive treatment plan consisting not only of medication but also integrated health options to address your body, mind, and soul. I view my relationship with my clients as a partnership and always want you to feel like an active part of your mental health care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After our first session, you will have an integrated treatment plan that will help guide your path to mental wellness. Each session is an opportunity for you to be heard and for us to discuss how your journey is going.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
