Dr. Sharda is an ABIM board-certified Endocrinologist with avid interest and extensive experience managing a spectrum of thyroid disorders. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi Medical College and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital. He completed his internal medicine residency at Atlantic Health–Overlook Medical Center, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He then completed his fellowship in endocrinology, metabolism, and diabetes at Temple University Health Sciences, serving as chief fellow. Dr. Sharda focuses on providing comprehensive, compassionate, individualized, evidence-based care to patients with thyroid disorders. He is a member of the American Thyroid Association and is ECNU (Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound) certified in thyroid ultrasound and biopsies. Outside of work, he enjoys volunteering with various cultural and social societies, playing sports like cricket and badminton, and practicing mindfulness, which helps him stay more alive and aware of the current situation.
