About Dr. Patricia Carroll-Chen
Dr. Carroll-Chen was a Cum Laude Graduate, an Illinois Benedictine Scholar (1983-1987) and won the Illinois Benedictine Biology Award in 1984. She has held a membership in Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA-National Medical Honor Society) and was also the recipient of the Dr. C.M. Craig Fellowship (Summer Research Fellowship) in 1990.
Dr. Carroll-Chen attended University of Illinois in Chicago for medical school and residency in dermatology. She then went to Kansas City to do a one year fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and surgical reconstruction.
Dr. Carroll-Chen is board-certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and is a member of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
