About Dr. Patricia M. Pavel
Dr. Patricia M. Pavel is a board-certified OB/GYN who graduated with honors from Columbia University in 2001. She obtained her medical degree from New York Medical College in 2005, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training in 2009 at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan, a teaching hospital of Columbia University. She practiced at the St. Joseph's Ambulatory Care Center at Willowbrook from 2009 to 2015.
In 2015, Dr. Pavel opened her private practice, Lumina Women's Care, in a conveniently-located and newly-renovated office in Wayne. She takes great pride in offering comprehensive women's care through all stages of life. She was named a Top Doctor by NJ Top Docs.
A resident of Wayne, Dr. Pavel enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her interests include photography and travel.

She was absolutely amazing! The wait time was awful. I was in the room for over two hours, but the doctor had several emergency patients that day. Even though I waited, it was so worth it. Dr. Pavel has such a wonderful personality. She makes you feel welcome and like she genuinely cares about you and your health. She took the time to get to know me as a patient and as a person. I'm happy I made the switch and feel like I've found a wonderful doctor to bring my children into the world.

I've been seeing Dr. Pavel for 4 years. I've had my annuals with her, in addition to a surgical procedure. Each time I've seen her she is very sweet, gentle and thorough. She has a bright personality which makes it easy to feel comfortable with her. The waiting time isn't the best (my most recent appointment was for 2:45 and she didn't come into the room until after 4pm), however I like her enough that the wait isn't that big of a deal. What I like best about her is she keeps a conversation with you throughout the appointment, helping to ease your mind. She is a wonderful doctor.
