He completed an intensive three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at New York-Presbyterian Queens in affiliation with Weill Cornell Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center. As part of a high-volume, primary-admit residency program, Dr. Jicman trained alongside multidisciplinary teams in the care of complex medical and surgical patients. His experience includes forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy, orthopedic trauma, sports-related injuries, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and advanced reconstructive procedures. This training provided a strong foundation in both elective and emergency foot and ankle surgery while emphasizing collaborative, evidence-based patient care. Dr. Jicman believes exceptional care begins with listening. He works closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their lifestyle, goals, and overall health.
