About Dr. Payam Sarraf
Payam Sarraf, DPM, is a podiatry specialist and surgeon at Foot + Ankle Specialty Centers, with offices in Gilbert, Scottsdale, Chandler, and Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Sarraf’s areas of expertise include ankle trauma, Achilles tendon ruptures, podopediatrics, ankle arthroscopy and reconstruction and biomechanics.
Dr. Sarraf began his journey as a physician at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated with bachelor degrees in microbiology and molecular genetics. He then went on to earn his podiatric medicine degree at the prestigious California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in San Francisco, graduating magna cum laude. He spent his last year of medical school at Madigan Army Medical Center, located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, in Tacoma, Washington, where he developed an expertise in a variety of lower extremity diseases and traumas.
Dr. Sarraf did his podiatric residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco. His residency included rear foot and ankle reconstructive surgery training as well as a rotation in orthopedic surgery and trauma.
In addition to his work with his patients at Foot + Ankle Specialty Centers, Dr. Sarraf also serves as clinical assistant professor of podiatric medicine at the A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona.

I normally see Dr. Kennedy but due to timing, I saw this provider and I wish I would have waited to see Kennedy. When the provider came in he almost immediately mentioned incorrect information about what was going on. Then upon examining my foot he offered a procedure for a condition in my foot. I wanted PT for my feet. He seemed to be most interested in pushing a procedure rather than helping me get the PT I need. He did not listen to the causes of why I am in the situation I am in. His student listened better and confirmed questions I had. Please do better. I am educated, I do my research, and I shouldn’t need to explain I am over having surgeries.

Dr. Payam Sarraf is an excellent doctor ?? ?? as a podiatrist, He has explained to me regarding both of my feet and also requested a few test on my first visit to determine what's going on with my feet, I really was just wondering if this test would be the answer to my feet problem-solving situation and Dr. Payam Sarraf mentioned to me that there were a few solutions that he recommended to reduce my pain so I said to him that whatever it's worth let give it a try. But Dr. Payam Sarraf did not want to prescribed any medications at any time. So he had recommended an injection ?? into both of my lower calf, In which case I need a lot more injection ?? of 11 shots in order to receive pain-free. Also the staffs of Dr. Payam Sarraf measured both of my feet to order the insoles for my sneakers to bring me comfort. I most definitely highly recommend Dr. Payam Sarraf as a podiatrist to all patients who has been experiencing foot pain. I really do appreciate you Dr. Payam Sarraf, returning soon

My experience was excellent. I would have said the front office staff was friendly, but they were not, due to preoccupation with office difficulties (not personal difficulties, but, technical ones). Rather distracting while filling out paperwork. Once I went to the back offices, I found the nurse assistant and Dr. Sarraf very friendly and very informative about the problem I came in for. The Dr. wait time was excellent. I will be following up with them for treatment.

I was reffered to this location by a co-worker of mine. I love that they took X-rays before seeing the provider. He used an Ultrasound machine to show me my foot injury and compared it to my other foot. I went in for PRP injections and was done the same day. Usually most providers do an initial visit then they schedule you to come back for injections. I was able to get everything done in 1 appointment. I am very happy and will continue to come here for my foot care. This location was recommended to me by a co-worker. I appreciated that they took X-rays before I saw the provider.
