Dr. Borden is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist with over 10 years of practice experience in the South Bay. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Colby College and his Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University. He completed his internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Borden's philosophy of treating patients is to provide the highest quality of care through a thorough understanding of each patient's medical problem and by applying the latest medical advances to achieve the goal of a full recovery.

This was my first visit to Dr. Borden. My first impression of him is good, or better than good. He quickly came up with a plan of treatment, speaking from experience I believe, rather from referring to his other sources of information. Did I say that right?
They took many Xrays. He didn't, should have, discussed his findings with me.
We will see how my follow up appointments go.

the doctor extremely verbally dressed down the xray tech when a mistake was made (most likely because I moved). But the doctor verbally abused the tech. Then he did the strangest thing. He winked at me like I would agree with him. With the 5 minutes he spent with me I can't come to any conclusion of his abilities, but I think I will look elsewhere

Everyone was friendly and super helpful. Although my appt was at 2 pm, they allowed me to come in 30 mins early to get me out early for my next appt. Dr. Border was referred to me by a co-worker and he is very wamr, kind, and knowledgable. Glad to be under his care!

Xray even before see dr. He was friendly, listened to my symptoms, felt the area and gave a diagnosis in short order. Suggested plan of action and to be in touch again if needed. Staff also efficient and professional. Large Parking lot is free, so that is a plus as well!

I’m having an ACL reconstruction surgery and it’s my first major procedure. Dr. Borden has been very patient and answered all my (many) questions. Like all surgeons I’ve seen, he can seem a bit brusque but given the time he’s spent to explain all of my options/the technical details of my procedure I’m glad to be working with him.
Office staff is friendly enough, be prepared for a ~30min wait if you come after 8am but it’s not the worst I’ve experienced.
