I specialize in surgery for men and women with cancers of the genitourinary system, including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, penile, and adrenal cancer. I have expertise in both open and minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgical techniques. A cancer diagnosis brings feelings of fear, anxiety, and vulnerability for patients and their families. My philosophy is to serve as your physician partner by providing a clear explanation of your disease and treatment options so that together, we can formulate a plan of action. I am actively involved in clinical and translational research and enroll patients in clinical trials. My number one priority is taking care of you.
I entered medicine to care for patients, ease suffering, and provide comfort and information to those facing overwhelming medical diagnoses. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas and completed my internship in General Surgery and residency in Urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I also hold a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
LVPG Urology conducts urologic cancer screening and engagement, and community involvement is very important to us.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, exploring the outdoors, playing sports, cooking, and traveling with friends.
