About Dr. Pooja Naik
Pooja Naik, MD, is a skilled internal medicine physician at Passion Health Primary Care in Frisco, Texas. Dedicated to her work, Dr. Naik takes a patient-centered approach to serve individuals and families in the community. She has a passion for medicine and prioritizes developing her skills as an internist.
Dr. Naik began her education at The University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas, where she received her Bachelor of Science in nutrition. Following this, she served as a lab technician at Pediatric Associates of Austin in Austin, Texas. This led her to pursue a Master of Science in medical science at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
Shortly after this, Dr. Naik went on to achieve her Doctor of Medicine at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. She later completed her internal medicine residency at the CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas.
Before joining the Passion Health Primary Care team, Dr. Naik served at the Portland Clinic, where she treated patients with hypertension, diabetes, depression, and anxiety. She currently holds memberships with the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
Outside of the office, Dr. Naik enjoys fitness, cooking, drawing, traveling, and collecting travel spoons. She’s also bilingual in English and Marathi. She looks forward to creating positive relationships with her patients at Passion Health Primary Care and working alongside the team.

The staff was friendly and professional. The check in process was modern and quick. The office was small and intimate something I preferred. The doctor was efficient and thorough.

Dr. Naik was very easy to talk to and really listened to me and asked good follow up questions to rule out other possibilities. She was also not judgmental when I was discussing my bad lifestyle decisions that led me to the appointment to begin with, which I appreciated. She offered good advice and was encouraging on how to improve.
