“Wasn't initially aware he was on-call at that location so the wait was a little longer than expected. Not sure if he's always on-call or just so for Fridays. Overall nothing to complain about given it was a last minute appointment I made (only 2days in advance). A very good experience.”

About Dr. Pouya Bahrami

Bahrami began his medical career at the University of New England in Maine. He completed his medical school training there in 1996. A year later, he attended the UC Irvine-San Bernardino County Medical Center, where he received extensive surgical training. In 1999, Dr. Bahrami went to the south of Spain for 6 weeks to work as a physician for a major cardiac care hospital. From his experience abroad – including 2 years living in Spain as a teenager – he is now fluent in the Spanish language. In 2001, Dr. Bahrami completed Internal Medicine training at the University of Connecticut. Shortly after, he took on a hospital-based practice until 2003. He treated the very ill and provided medical care to the uninsured – including critical care medicine at a major medical center. From there, Dr. Bahrami’s medical career took a slightly new course as he went on to learn cutting-edge treatments including Lipotherapy, from the pioneers of the medical cosmetics field in California and Arizona. Finally a year later, Dr. Bahrami established his own private practice in Downtown Los Angeles. It became the fastest growing primary care practice in the area.
