“I came to Dr. Penta for my chronic shoulder pain. He took his time with the physical exam and confirmed that my condition wasn't affecting any other parts of the body. The doctor listened to my concerns and provide various options in addressing the issue I came to the office with, he also provided a chart of mixed at home exercises that would help alleviate the pain and stress on the muscles. Dr. Penta was knowledgeable, patient, kind and professional in his demeanor. Furthermore, his front desk staff was easy to work with and professional. I would definitely recommend Dr. Penta! ”

Dr Penta is friendly and gets right to the point.
Dr. Penta is great. He listened to what my issue was, asked some insightful questions and provided great advice going forward in getting me better. I have recommended him to other friends.

Dr. Penta is a life-saver! I hurt my wrist playing soccer and he was able to see me the same day I requested to be seen. He suspected a fracture and arranged the appropriate care in a timely fashion. At the same time, he did not forget to ask me about all my other ailments that he has treated me for in the past (yes, I know i'm a walking mess). This rare combination of compassion, thoroughness, and knowledge makes me feel safe in his hands and certain that I am getting the best medical care.
He's robotic, staring at his computer terminal as he talks to you. He doesn't even offer to shake your hand upon meeting him. He doesn't have time for small talk. He does however ask the right medical questions, and he's probably competent. He isn't Dr. Warmth.
The time I spent with Dr. Penta was very efficiently managed even if I did have to wait for about 20 to 30 minutes. He is clearly knowledgeable and caring. The office location is not very convenient though. It's pretty far east near the auto entrance for the Lincoln Tunnel, a few blocks from the 33rd st Stop on the 6 train.
I highly recommend Dr Penta- he's friendly and patient in explaining complicated medical issues and happily answers any questions without feeling rushed.
Doc examined me carefully and paid all attention to listen to my problem. Instead of prescribing medication he gave me a handout of exercise regime for my back problem which is good and does not carry any side effects.

Listened carefully to my issues and was careful to make sure he didn't come to any wrong conclusions without the proper testing. Quickly called me back as soon as test results were available to him and came up with a course of action that was able to quickly relieve me of my pain.
Verified patient
Good. professional and quick given that it was more a precautionary visit from my end for my back pain which was subsiding after 1 day.
Verified patient
Dr. Penta was thorough. He asked a lot of questions and actually listened to my answers. He was not only professional and knowledgable, but personable as well. And he kept me waiting less than 5 minutes to see him!

The front desk staff was efficient and friendly. Dr. Penda was very knowledgeable and thorough, BUT he came off as callous and insensitive during the visit. This is especially difficult on a patient when he/she is in a lot of pain or dealing with difficult news regarding an injury.
Dr. Penta's great very knowledgeable & proffesional also easy to talk to. Seems to have a lot of experience & knows exactly what he's talking about. Amazing takes time to listen. Highly recommend.
I saw Dr. Penta for lower back strain. He was very thorough. He stretched me out and I felt immediate relief. Gave me great advice.. doing a lot better.

The wait time was way too long.

Went in to find out about knee injury. No wait time; he was very thorough in testing the knee and recommended an MRI to resolve an equivocal evaluation; he also reads MRIs.
Great doctor, obviously knowledgeable and seemed to focus on what was right for me rather than push unnecessary procedures my way.
