Dr. Penmetsa is board certified in gastroenterology and is well trained in GI procedures including ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography). His clinical interests focus on esophageal disorders, pancreatobiliary diseases, VCE, viral hepatitis as well as inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Penmetsa volunteers as teaching faculty at Unity Health System's Medicine Residency Program as well as an attending Gastroenterologist at Rochester General Hospital.
