Most relevant
I sought her for medication management for my postpartum anxiety. She conducted a non-individualized intake which focused on symptoms I am not having. She asked me questions I had already provided on the registration forms, she clearly had not reviewed. Her style of interviewing me showed a lack of ability to infer based on my responses. If I didn’t respond exactly how it fit into her template, she couldn’t move forward. She presented condescending when having me repeat myself so she could get an answer that fit for her. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with how things were going, she did not modify her approach. I was referred for IOP (not explained to me) which is more work for me to figure out. I am already being seen by a therapist for EMDR which she did not touch on. I felt like a number to her and did not leave with anything supportive. I was offered to take a referral for IOP or for a second opinion with a different psychiatrist, but told I could not have both.

Uncompassionate and hung up on me. Refused to treat me after learning I was disabled and not a high functioning adult. Left me feeling horrible when I was already having a hard time.
