Dr. Preeti is nice, however takes a while to reach back out to you with results. I personally felt a way when I received a voicemail at the end of the day saying that I had a positive result for atest, and was not able to get the medicine for it till the following Monday. I was going untreated for 3 more days for something pretty serious . That left me with anxiety

She is everything the other reviews say about her. If anyone gives a bad review, it might be that the office staff are a teensy rough around the edges. But not rude or unprofessional. Dr. Preeti Rana herself really listened tome and made me feel like I am in good hands. I am a new patient and choosing her as my PCP since I recently moved to Virginia.

The nurse left the door open during the the first portion. She also seemed very unsure of herself. She never took my temperature or asked what symptoms I was having. Solid pass on this one. Won’t be going back.

I really loved seeing Dr. Rana. She made me feel very comfortable and listened to my issues caringly. I definitely feel as though she knows what she's talking about and knows the best ways to help me. I look forward toseeing her again, which is not something I usually feel about doctors visits.

Dr. Rana was great! I was there for my annual physical and she was very nice and answered all my questions. I had recently stopped taking a medication and she was able to explain to me the changes I was seeingin my body and how long to expect that. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Rana and I will go back to see her again. Her staff was also very professional and I didn't even notice when her PA took my blood sample. Finally, I had to have a form filled out for my insurance company's HSA plan. Dr. Rana filled out the form for me and her staff called me when it was ready a week later. Really good service!

Very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. I also had a great experience with the supporting staff who were expedient and kind. I had been searching for new general practitioner in the area (transitioned from Kaiser) and am thrilled that I found Dr Rana.

Dr. Rana is very caring and knowledgeable. She always listens well and is willing to take the time to address all of my concerns. The office staff is also always both pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Rana and the staff at her Carlin Springs (Arlington) location.

I hadn't been to the doctor in four years; my wife convinced me to go and get a physical / checkup. Dr Rana's office drew blood on me, said they would call me with the results. Never heard back from them.

Dr. Rana is AWESOME! Not only was she extremely professional, but her entire demeanor was so inviting. I could tell after spending less than 5 minutes with her that she would be my primary care doctor for the rest of mylife! She was patient, kind, attentive and actually listened to me while I voiced my concerns. Dr. Rana was not quick to grab a pad and start writing prescriptions or instructions. Rather, she took the time to think through all of my concerns and appropriately made recommendations! Her front office and medical intern also were kind and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Rana to anyone who is looking for a doctor who truly cares about her patients and who is not quick to dismiss you. Her office is not run like the "run-of-the-mill" doctor's office where you see a lot of patients who are in and out of the exam room within 5 minutes or less! No, this practice is run like all practices should run -- in an efficient, effective, and professional manner. Kudos to Dr. Rana and her staff!!!

Dr. Rana was great and I enjoyed working with her as my doctor but the staff is absolutely horrible and I will not be going back. Most recently when I was very sick, I called to make an appointment and theperson who answered the phone told me there were no appointments and offered me no alternative with different appointment times or suggestions with what I should do. My symptoms were pretty severe. During my last appointment I had lost weight and the assistant was very rude, wanting to gossip about how I did it because she was trying to lose weight, her suggestion to me was to drink green tea.. I find this completely inappropriate as I was in a doctors office and there was a medical reason why I lost weight. I've waited in the waiting room for over 45 minutes more then once. Last, there has been at least two occasions where someone in the office wrote me the wrong prescription and once refused to fix the mistake. I wish I had better things to say because there is potential here but I am not going back.

My visit was fine, she seemed to be concened about my health condition. Although I am not happy with how the visit was billed, which was billed under a different reason than what I intended. Hopefully that can be resolved.

She works with people like she works with animals doesn't even want to touch me or check what I have all her visit was question and that's all . He stuff was rude having a medical assistant student letting her doeverything without correcting her even when she made mistakes. Her front disk, rude person. I called after the visit to talk to the doctor about a prescription she was claiming that the doctor not on the office and saying that she can't reach her. Interested to take money from patient and from the insurance. I will never go to her office and I will never recommend her. I will try my best to reach out to the medical board and let them know about this doctor and her stuff

Very knowledgable. Her nurse came into the room to ask her a question on another patient when she was seeing me. She asked, "did you notice the edema on room 2?" When Dr. Rana responded "yes", it was very reassuring tome that she is very observant and is using all of this information to make the best clinical decision. I'm not sure what is going on for me medically, but I felt confident leaving her office with some referrals that she is going to be a great resource for the best treatment possible.

This was my first time at Dr. Rana's office, having only recently moved to the area. I was pleased with the efficiency and personability of all of the staff in the office. While I just wanted a prescription refill, Dr. Ranadefinitely made sure to ask if I had any other health questions or concerns and documented a baseline of my health for her files. I plan to keep her as my PCP in the future.

Although the wait was pretty long, I was happy with my appointment. Dr. Rana asked the important questions and took my concerns into consideration. I liked that they were able to take blood there in the office and do an EKGright there. I was very grateful that I didn't have to go to a lab to have that done. I didn't like having to pay $4.00 just to park at the Dr.'s office, but overall I was happy with my visit. Next time I will park in a place I know and walk to the office.

Wait was a bit long, but, then again, sometimes you just gotta suck it up, if you 're seeing a good doctor. She was great. Did not rush me, was polite and attentive. Made sure I have the opportunity to addressany other issues I had questions about. I am permanently switching to this office from my other PCP in DC. I do recommend Dr Preeti Rana to anyone looking for a personable MD in NOVA area.
