I have been receiving PT for my TMJ disorder and it has been excellent treatment. I have been recovering well very quickly!

I do not recomment PT of the City Lenox Hill location. I was contacted one day before my first appointment requesting me to reschedule my appointment for the up coming week. I refused, I found it unprofessional, it seem they wanted to make the appointment out of Zocdoc. After my second section. They have not done one exercise in the list provided by my Orthopedic Surgeon such as Pendulum, all they do to all patients is ice and massages. I had Rotator Cuff Surgery. My insurance is HealthFirst (NY) Healthfirst Life Improvement Plan (HMO SNP). I also have Medicare but HealthFirst is the one that picks up the bill for PT. In order for me to go to another PT, I required a discharge letter and although PT of the City agrees over the phone they never email the letter. I have email requesting fo Discharged Letter. I am not dealing with Health first as an intermediate. This is a roadblock because I am losing recovery time and my shoulder can get stiff due to the lack of Physical Therapy.
