About Dr. Qurat Mudassar
Dr. Mudassar completed her Internship and residency at the Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Mudassar completed her Fellowship in Infectious Disease at the New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, where she worked with a diverse patient population to treat various types of infections, including severe sepsis, HIV, and hepatitis B and C.
She obtained her Medical Degree from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, followed by observership and externship experience at numerous health facilities, including Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, New York, and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, Indiana.

While the doctor believed that she delivered her advice well, she did not. I am experiencing things that are a part of life which others experience as well, yet that does not take away from my experience. I was advised to take prescribed medicine from a psychotherapist because I became emotional while expressing the terminal illnesses my parents have and asked how I should navigate paperwork if I ever need to take leave to prevent myself from having a breakdown in the future. I am not there for my parents the way that I would like to be due to the demands of my job that does not give me work life balance. If I was able to actually take the family leave that I am entitled to without feeling the backlash of being absent from work, I believe things would be better. I am not able to attend most appointments, procedures, and treatments. I did not need to be told that I should instead be grateful that I have my husband and kids and am not alone like others in my shoes. I’m aware

Doctor Mudassar was extremely friendly and soft-spoken which made me feel so comfortable. She listened to me thoroughly and allowed me to ask questions. Her bedside manner is amazing. Initially coming in to this appointment, I wasn’t planning on continuing to see this particular doctor, I was only coming for my annual and some clearance but she won me over!
