My appointment was canceled, and I only found out when I arrived at the hospital. The office staff kept insisting that they had contacted me and left a message, but I never received any communication about the cancellation. In fact, I received a reminder one day before the appointment and on appointment day as well. To add to the frustration, I just received a survey about my visit experience. Really guys
You really need to improve your appointment system and the communication from your office staff. The way they spoke with me as a patient was unprofessional and dismissive, and this experience has been very frustrating.

I arrived early and waited a few minutes, and was greeted by the staff, given my paperwork to be completed and taken into the exam room. Doctor Sam Suri came in about a minute before the scheduled appointment time and said he had to take care of something than would be right in, and he was.

I selected this doctor as my primary physician and was very unsure/uncomfortable with a procedure he wanted to do, so I cancelled that appointment. I later called his office 2 times to have a prescription refilled. His staff member told me my request was given to the doctor, however; he never filled my prescription, so I now have a new primary.

I recently moved from NJ & the thing I was most anxious about was finding a new Dr. I needed a cardiologist who also does primary care. I was proactive, did my research & made appt for a Dr close by over a month before I moved, but they last minute cancelled saying they no longer take my insurance. I was about to run out of meds so I saw a random Dr. who was not educated on my diagnoses & kind of gaslit me. Fast forward to last week: I went on ZocDoc in desperate need to find a Dr that takes Tricare & could see me ASAP. I found Dr. Suri & despite him being 27miles away (which means an hour drive here), I made the appt & I’m so glad I did! He was friendly but most importantly knowledgeable about my unique combo of rare medical history & was NOT rude or dismissive at all like the last Dr I saw. I will be going back despite the distance & highly recommend this office! All staff were nice, but the MAs were especially sweet and personable! I feel like I hit a jackpot finding this practice!

Poor coordination. Took 2 weeks and multiple phone calls to schedule an Echo. Asked me to drop off holter in person and do the echo together, then at the exact appointment told me i can’t have the echo cuz they can’t read the holter it has to be sent to some lab.

Not the best at communicating nor showed a sense of urgency towards my symptoms with very short consultation that felt rushed. I traveled an hour for a 15 minutes doctors appointment to leave feeling uncertain still.

This was my first visit to this office. The wait was almost 45 minutes before I saw the doctir, however; he did stop in to apologize for the long wait. In talking with him, he showed me on a wall viewer what we would be doing next appointment. I was extremely excited to see that he is also a vascular physician, and I would not need to be referred to a vascular surgeon. I have been unable to walk for over 1 year ... the hospital and my last primary physician did nothing to solve my walking problem. I look forward to my next visits with Dr. Suri. My next visit will tell a lot of my walking ability in the future. Of great importance to me ... he wasn't checking his watch all the time to see if my allotted 15 minutes was up. We talked until we had everything set up for the next time, including my going to Quest Lab for blood work and analysis. So ... Three YESSES!!!! for Dr. Suri. I searched for over 2 months to find a new primary doctor ... the wait was worth it!!!!!!!

The appointments here are fake. You have to wait over 3 hours. They don't accept the ZocDoc form, you have to refill the form on paper.

First, Dr. Suri was the only cardiologist I could schedule an appointment with on such short notice, which is very nice. I was looked at relatively quickly, and apparently I may have an issue with my heart. Something the ER doctor laughed at previously. The only reason I went to the ER was because its very rare to get quick appointments AND testing, and I have gotten both from dr. Suri.
I am very thankful Dr. Suri did not do what most other doctors have done, and that is look at my age and weight and assume my issue isn't a heart one.
I would recommend Dr. Suri based on this one appointment.
