“I was very impressed with Dr. Hussain. While I had to wait quite a while to see him past my appointment time, he mentioned it was because his last couple appointments took longer than planned, which is notable considering most doctors barely give you the time of day anymore. Dr. Hussain patiently listened to multiple problems I had sought his care for and was able to diagnose an issue I have struggled with for about a decade that other doctors were not able to diagnose. Additionally, he was very welcoming and accommodating of me having my 9 month old with me who was struggling keeping it together due to skipping his nap and getting hungry while we were there. I will definitely continue my care with this doctor and recommend him to others!”

Dr. Raafae M. Hussain, DPM, is a comprehensive foot and ankle surgeon who began his studies at the University of Hartford, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Driven by an interest in sports medicine and bone deformities, he completed his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Hussain’s credentials include training with some of the nation’s top foot and ankle specialists. His extensive experience includes a Residency at DVA Northport Medical Center (NY), a Residency at University General Hospital (TX), and a Fellowship in Podiatric Research at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital (PA).
Dr. Hussain is co-creator and co-host of The Pod Doctors Podcast, where he and his colleagues discuss topics in podiatric medicine, share clinical insights, and offer educational content for practitioners and patients alike.
