I am a doctorally prepared, dually certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner. My Focus of practice includes Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, Mood Disorders, and PTSD. As a mental healthcare provider, I take a holistic, patient-centered approach, addressing both physical and mental health needs. This involves comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing a range of interventions, including psychotherapy, medication management, and education. I work with individuals of all cultures and backgrounds. I work with adolescents through older adults. I treat a wide variety of conditions, some of which include: Anxiety, ADHD, depression, mood disorders such as Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and PTSD. Working with me is very inviting, friendly. I convey a welcoming, warm environment to make to atmosphere easygoing. What attracted me to a career in mental healthcare was taking care of my primary care patients. I would have so many patient who would benefit from mental health, who needed therapy and pharmacology, but it took so long for them to be seen, I started to work with them and provide the care and follow up that they needed, it was amazing to see such progress with my patients I went back to learn as much as I could, and the rest is history! My approach to goal setting includes starting with an understanding of individual needs, with a focus on what the patient wants to achieve through collaboration. Together, we will define specific, measurable goals. During our first session are primarily focused on building rapport and gathering information, which includes a reason for seeking help, goals, addressing concerns, and confidentiality.
