About Dr. Rachel Kramer
Rachel Kramer is an educated and accomplished medical oncologist and hematologist practicing in the community of New York, NY. Dr. Kramer attended the University of Maryland, where she received her medical degree, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital. She then completed her fellowship in hematology and oncology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Kramer is affiliated with The Mount Sinai Hospital and holds professional memberships in the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the New York Academy of Medicine, and the Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Kramer was very thorough, and I appreciated her curiosity about my symptoms and her listening to my answers. She’s got a great sense of humor, while treating my iron deficiency like it mattered. She was open and transparent about the treatment process, and answered my questions knowledgeably. The office was also very clean and orderly, and the front desk staff was professional and attentive. I didn’t wait very long at all.

Dr. Kramer was amazing. She is very knowledgeable and confident, without being arrogant. She sets aside a generous amount of time for new patients, so that we didn't feel rushed at all. She realized that I was very nervous about being referred to a hematologist/oncologist, and did her best to reassure me and calm me, with warmth, empathy, and humor.

Felt immediately comfortable with Dr. Kramer's friendly smile and hello! I think she is the kind of clinician any patient would want when in need of medical attention, especially of her particular expertise. She is personable and has a very easy way of explaining medical terminology and making you feel a part of your own treatment. It is no doubt that she chose the right field to practice in and that she is right where she is supposed to be, helping people/patients live the best quality life they possibly can! She's Awesome!
