Meet Dr. Rana Taherian, a highly skilled and dedicated Rheumatologist certified by two prestigious boards. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Iran University of Medical Sciences and completed an intensive fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Texas, Houston. With over two years of fellowship training, Dr. Taherian has honed expertise in managing even the most complex rheumatological conditions.
During fellowship, Dr. Taherian immersed herself in both inpatient and outpatient settings, gaining firsthand experience in caring for patients with a wide range of rheumatological diseases. As a second-year fellow, she had the privilege of working closely with renowned experts such as Dr. John Reveille, Dr. Maureen Mayes, and Dr. Shervin Assassi in specialty clinics focused on systemic sclerosis and spondyloarthritis.
