About Dr. Rasha Ebeid
Dr. Ebeid is an experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist who has been practicing in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area since 2001. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, as well as her PhD in Medicine, from Cairo University Faculty of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cairo University and later at George Washington University. Dr. Ebeid is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Recently, she was appointed as an Examiner for applicants seeking board certification.
Known for her empathy and excellent medical and surgical skills, Dr. Ebeid has been recognized as a Virginia Top Doctor in 2021 and 2022, and a Washingtonian Top Doctor in 2023. She has a special interest in general obstetrics and gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, and pediatric gynecology.
Over the past 16 years, Dr. Ebeid has held various leadership roles, most notably as Medical Director of Inova Cares Clinic for Women and Lead OBGYN Hospitalist at Inova Fairfax Hospital from 2008 to 2021. Inova Fairfax is one of the busiest and highest-ranked obstetrics and gynecology hospitals nationwide. In 2022, she established Merit Women’s Care, a new OBGYN practice near Inova Fairfax Hospital, about 20 minutes from DC and Maryland, offering concierge-quality medical care at no additional cost.
In addition to her extensive clinical and surgical experience, Dr. Ebeid is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Virginia and has held similar academic positions at George Washington University and Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a founding member and former board member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and serves as one of nine editors of the national Journal of OB-GYN Hospital Medicine.

Overall I had a very pleasant experience! The front desk staff was very warm and inviting. I was seen by the nurse almost immediately. Dr. Ebeid and the other doctor (sorry I forgot your name) were very friendly and informative. I am definitely going back again for my annual!

Amazingly friendly staff! The process for check in was speedy with private platform as integration. Rasha made me feel very comfortable for my annual pap exam, which is typically never a comfortable experience. In addition she listened & checked up on me during the examination.
