Rawann Nassar, MD MPH is an Endocrinology, Diabetes and Bone Disease specialist at Mount Sinai Doctors in Manhattan.
She was born and raised in Lebanon. As early as middle school, Dr Nassar was passionate about weight management and obesity and the challenges it poses. To channel this passion, she pursued her medical degree at the American University of Beirut. In 2017 she moved to Manhattan and earned her Masters in Public Health degree at Columbia University. Dr Nassar went on to complete her medical residency at Mount Sinai Morningside-West and continued at Mount Sinai to complete her Endocrinology, Diabetes and Bone Disease Fellowship thereafter.
She practices endocrinology with a special interest in obesity and weight management, as well as thyroid disease, diabetes, pituitary disorders and osteoporosis.

She said she cannot help me but she would transfer me to her colleague in her office and that I wasnt a new patient because i was a patient of the practice.. they gave me an appointment and then she said it was cancelled because the other doctor didnt want new patients.. then the practice said I didnt show up to the appointment that they told me I didnt have! Horrible experience

Dr. Nasser was respectful, kind, and efficient without being rushed. Her high level of expertise was evident as she discussed my diagnoses and the reasons why a certain condition can be misdiagnosed. I appreciated that she discussed with me which lab tests to order and why. Overall, highly recommended!

I came in for a hormonal consultation and was happily surprised that I was also able to get a blood panel done the same day. I have a busy schedule so it’s always amazing when I can get the work I would like done same day vs taking multiple days off of work for appointments. The nurses were all very nice and attentive. Dr. Nassar was phenomenal and I plan to keep her as my primary endocrinologist for the future.
