In my practice, I use a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach. It focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. This approach also helps and modifies unhelpful thoughts and behaviors so that individuals can improve their emotional well-being. My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and trauma. I provide a comfortable and stress-free environment for my patients. I believe in listening to my patients as well as providing education about their treatment. I was attracted by this field of work by the need for mental health care and education within our society. I want to continue to educate my clients on the importance of mental health and to break boundaries and stigmas that prevent individuals from seeking mental health assistance. A collaborative and client-centered approach to goal setting, ensuring that each patient's goals align with their values, needs, and readiness for change. I started by exploring their concerns, strengths, and long-term aspirations, then worked together to set realistic, specific, and achievable goals. Patient can expect a passionate, structured, and thorough assessment of their mental health concerns.
