Raymond Obiajulu is a board-certified PMHNP. He completed his Master's degree program at Walden University. After his introduction to the key areas of nursing, he found that psychiatry comprised the exact sort of comprehensive and holistic healthcare that he wished to practice. Raymond has experience treating a wide range of conditions including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, and dementia. He incorporates an evidence-based approach in his practice with a focus on holistic mental health treatment.
MEDICATION PRESCRIBING: Thriveworks providers do not prescribe opioid use disorder medications, weight-loss medications, injectable psychiatric medications, long-term benzodiazepines, or sleep medications, though these may be prescribed short-term for existing clients when clinically appropriate. Controlled substances, including ADHD stimulants, are available only in select states.

Completely disengaged. So focused on me being on camera, but looked at a computer or notes the whole time. I spent time filling out assessments and prescription history but he obviously spent no time reviewing it prior to the appointment. He kept asking me repeat questions because he "wanted to hear it from my mouth". He tried telling me to stop taking prescriptions I had been taking that were working for me and refused to prescribe prescriptions that I have used in the past with a history of working for me. Overall just a complete waste of time and discouraging trying to get better. It's hard to find somebody that truly empathizes. I don't think this guy knows the word. There's a reason he had so many open appointments. Now I know why.
