I work with clients ages 8-70, treating various conditions that include Depressive disorder, Anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar disorders, Schizophrenic disorders, Conduct disorders, Oppositional Defiant disorders, DMDD, and Brief psychosis. My work environment is relaxed and flexible. I'm a good listener, easy to work with, and respectful to my clients. I wanted to understand and help my now 19-year-old daughter who was struggling with mental health issues. My drive is to part of the professional community striving to improve mental health in our communities. Goals are tailored to meet the client's needs. This includes an ongoing process of listening to client concerns, identifying their needs, discussing treatment options, and empowering them in the decision to create goals that fit their needs. The first visit is usually an intake session where concerns are discussed and a thorough psychiatric evaluation including standardized screening is provided. Depending on the concerns presented, treatment may be discussed as well.
